Random Semi-Story Without an Ending-or Middle

It shouldn't surprise me anymore, when someone tells me I'm different. I get it every day. Today I'm a loser, tomorrow I'm insane. No hard feelings, right?

Yeah, that's what I've been telling myself since fifth grade. But I'm sick of it. People shouldn't judge you because you have fun in life. Because you are smart and appreciative. Because you are you. I don't know anyone who wants to be called 'crazy' forever. No, not me, either.

+++

So here I sit, on a hill, eating my lunch and waiting for the bell to ring. Sure, I've got friends, but sometimes it's nice to enjoy the hour alone. Around me, students are laughing and joking. A few here and there read, wishing time would go faster. But the majority just...eat.

To my left are a group of well-known kids. From an outside view, they all seem perfect. But I've sat next to them too many times to not know what it's really like. Each of them get high marks on every test, struggling to be the best. Sometimes, at lunch, they study, quizzing each other and racking their brains to remember the answer. Yet, that's rare. Usually they just relax and talk. One of them...Joey...can--

Ring!

--Err. The bell strikes again...

I hate that too.
People label me as sort of 'the short weird one' from what I can tell.
Its not bad to get called crazy, or weird to me. It just means that you have a lot more personality (in a good way) then all the other generic preps and all that out there.

Thanks for the comment on my little blog! I love getting them!

Wait a second, what can Joey do?! Post more. :) No, I'm not back from vacation, but I'm posting from Boston! I hate being labeled. In elementary school, kids labeled me as the quiet girl sitting at her desk reading whenever she got the chance. Some thought of me as the nice girl. Others, the sad little depressed girl who gets good grades. Well, my friends know the real me (and everyone who reads my blog knows the real me too) and that's all that really matters. Right? I'll answer myself and say Right. Now, in junior high everyone knows me as the girl who won't shutup. And to everyone in honors L.A. the girl who can read a very large book in less than a day and who will probably beat me at speed reading hands down. I like my L.A. title. Also, being labeled is just plain over-rated. It's like 'Oh don't sit at that table! That's where the geeks sit' I mean it's retarded. Sometimes school just sux. Yep. By the way, some kid got expelled from school in the 2nd to last week for saying he was going to come shoot everybody at school. From my observations I don't think he really would have. Well, I know I'm rambling and you're probably sick of hearing all this 'cuz you probably get the point. Yep, I've definitely got A.D.D. No I don't really, but maybe I do. I'm confusing myself so I'm just gonna stop typing.

Labels don't affect me too much.

It's mostly the concept of them that throws me over the top.
(Err, unless they are the types that compliment you.)

Haha. Some people at my school would call me a geek, and then apologize a second later. (Maybe they are afraid of me? Haha. Nahh.) That's when it gets amusing, though.

Geek--isn't that someone who is smart but a bit odd?

I think I'd rather be smart than cool, really.

And I agree--it's what you think of you that counts.

Whoa. I literally just said that exact phrase a few days ago. Hehe. How strange...

And being called "crazy"...hmm. Yeah. I always get the image of someone really up-beat and happy.

Wow. Expelled?

I can't say I know anyone expelled for that reason. Hehe. Not quite.

Oooh. And...um.

I don't know what Joey can do.

Hehe. I had to get off the computer...so I just ended it.

Or, not exactly ended it, more like middlized it. (Wow. I like that word a bit--middlized. Or wait...what do you call a word that isn't actually a word?)

The only thing that REALLY gets to me is when random strangers come up to ma and are all like "Wow. You're short."
That's just plain rude.
It doesn't really bother me when my friends say it but... strangers? Come on.

Wow. Strangers?

I never really understood why anyone would say that.

It's like saying "Hmm. Your size doesn't fit the human race. Maybe you're not normal..."

What's normal supposed to look like, anyway?

(That was a quote on some poster I saw at school...everyday. The "normal" one.)

Hehe.
Normal is a weird word.
