It's a Bright World

I can just imagine
The world set so bright,
That even the sun
Has to hide from it's light,
The stars and the moon
Coming out in the day,
The children all shielding
Their eyes from the ray,
Our eggs on the patio,
Frying to crisp,
Ashes of wood
Building up in the mist,
Bulbs in the trash
That the neighbors all strayed,
Piling them up
So they form a parade.

This poem actually took two days to mold. Easy to think, hard to write down. It was one of those topics that you almost give up on...
