Blind

The world is hiding from me
In a sea of darkness
And I can't swim away.

Someone--pull me to land.

Hill Avenue

The story began
On Hill Avenue,
Where houses were lost
In the trees and the dew,
The road was slanted,
Headed up the lane,
But the homes were missing,
Hidden somewhere in fame.
Now there was a time,
When these places were known,
Everyone knew them,
They were just like a throne.
It was there that the people
Gathered their thoughts,
It was there that the animals
Were welcomed by lots.
Avenue was like that
For several years,
Until a striking storm came,
And sent them askew.
People forgot and animals died,
The path of brilliance
Was set aside.
Then about came a girl,
Who walked through the trees,
With senile branches,
As she scraped her knees,
But she cared of little,
When she noticed a house,
Far into the forest
Of great grim loss.
Faster than ever,
She ran to the home,
A vacant cave,
She would soon call her own.
Now it took two years
To rebuild the place,
But when it was done
Excitement filled her face.
She gathered her hammer,
Her nails and her cloth,
And slid them away
In the new cabinet toss.
There she lived,
For quite a long time,
Without a knock,
Without a chime.
Eventually the trees
Grew happy and tall,
They straightened their spines,
And replenished their flaws.
As time passed,
All the children,
From around and about,
Took part in the forest
That once fell apart.
They watered the trees
When rain lost its fall,
And cared for the animals,
When they were as thin as straw.
They did all that was needed
To make it survive,
And once again,
Hill Avenue was alive.

Me Scaring Other People

So, basically, I decided I was going to say slightly random things to people, and I wrote them down. Really, it was great fun once they started getting freaked out. These were my sudden sayings. Haha:

Oh yeah, half of the don't make a terrific amount of sense. Buuuuut....

Stress the syllables
And find a say.
Perhaps one day,
It won't be that way.

A light in the window
Will show you the path,
Forget the walk,
And lead to the last.

*When darkness falls
Bid your past,
Keep going until...
Away at last.*
(repost)

A word means nothing
Until you know--
The meaning of wonders
That wonders hold.

A tip for thought,
A sketch for thirst,
A moment of silence,
Will be the worst.

Into the world,
Where no one is seen,
Not much matters,
Until you know Lean.

Speaker for sound,
Screen for sight,
It comes together,
But not quite right.

Forbidden is he,
But know you do not,
For here is he gone,
Into the night.

A word to encourage,
Is all one needs,
But to go one must,
As you and me.

No one to know,
No one to see,
No one to notice,
But me.

Shadows

When darkness falls
Bid your past,
Keep going until...
Away at last.

Twilight

Couldn't resist this one. To how many is it true?
